What we did
Introduction
The introduction of new soft eating will include four sofas and eight chairs, facilitating private meetings. Additionally, two high chairs in a designated area will provide the public with a space to work while waiting.
We will also install seven coffee tables, each accompanied by four chairs, accommodating up to 35 individuals for meetings with Absa at the new coffee station. Furthermore, a new sofa, paired with two chairs and a small table, will create an inviting space for open public meetings.
Lastly, a new storage area located beneath the stairs will help to eliminate clutter in the passageway, enhancing the overall organization of the space.

Soft Seating Area:
The soft seating area features seating for sixteen with plush modular sofas and sleek armchairs in neutral tones, accented by signature red pillows. Low glass-topped tables and soft ambient lighting create a modern, inviting atmosphere, while lush planters add greenery, enhancing comfort and reflecting ABSA’s commitment to elegance.
High Bench Seating Area:
Behind the soft seating are, a sleek high worktop bench with nine high chairs offers a functional, stylish space for casual meetings or quick tasks. The minimalist design features a polished surface and contemporary high chairs, enhancing the area’s modern aesthetic while providing a versatile spot for visitors and staff to engage or work.
Sofa with Ottomans:
Adjacent to the Coffee Station, sofa with ottomans offering a spacious and collaborative work area, seamlessly integrated with planter that adds a touch of greenery. Positioned next to a striking cladded wall, this setup not only enhances functionality but also provides a visually appealing introduction to the reception area, blending practical workspace with a welcoming, modern design.
Four Seater Coffee Tables:
Seven round coffee tables are arranged, each designed to seat four people. This strategic layout aids in efficient space planning offering both flexibility and functionality. The staggered positioning ensures a dynamic and visually appealing setup while optimizing the use of available space.

The Excecution
The coffee station features ample marble counter space, complemented by sleek undercounter lighting that highlights its elegant surface. Surrounding the area, lush wall vegetation adds a touch of nature, enhancing the inciting atmosphere. Digital menu boards provide up-to-date beverage options, while modern aluminium air inlets are seamlessly integrated into the design, ensuring both functionality and a polished finish.
